Coconut Oil Cures!

Hello Beautifuls!

The amazing coconut oil kinda got a bad rep during the 90’s ‘low fat’ campaigns.  But this oil is fantastic for healthy insides as well as many uses topically.  Here are some ways I like to use coconut oil other than for cooking. 

1~Soft silky skin…take a bath with 1 TBS of melted coconut oil and pat yourself dry.  Your skin will feel baby soft!

2~Anti-aging night cream.  Just put some on your palms and massage it into your face.  It’s A LOT cheaper than those expensive creams with loads of chemicals and weird fragrances. I dream about Hawaii all night long!

3~Cheap chap-stick! 

4~Deep Treat Scalp and Hair Conditioner.  Massage it into your scalp and run your fingers through you hair and sleep on it.  You might want to wear a cap to keep your pillow from getting greasy.  Wash in the morning for super shiny and silky hair and bye-bye dandruff!  Try once weekly if you have dry hair/scalp.

5~Dry elbows or cracked heels:  rub it in and put socks on to sleep or wrap your elbow with the top of a tube sock cut off to help keep the moisture in.

I’ve heard that it’s great for eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and even skin fungal infections.  Green Smoothie Girl gave her son a few spoonfuls twice daily to help him rid of painful urinary tract infections.
