When you’re working toward your goal of eating healthier and you REALLY need a choclatey treat this is what I do!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Green Smoothie
1-2 Cups of Milk or Milk Substitute of Choice
1-2 big handfuls of Spinach or Kale
1 Banana (frozen is best)
1 TBS real Peanut Butter or Almond Butter (no sugar, or hydrogenated oils)
1 TBS Cocoa or Cacao Powder (make sure it doesn’t have sugar in it)
1-2 TBS of Chia Seeds
Blend til smooth and ENJOY! You can even add in a handful of ice to make it thicker and colder like a frosty but SO much better! This is a meal in itself. Have it for breakfast and you’ll have a fantastic day or use it for an afternoon snack to chase away the snoozes!
